I am still swooning from that ending! *MY HEART * From the literal first page I was all in. The primal chase concept that was set in motion from the beginning did things to me and remained a theme throughout the book which I absolutely loved. There are a lot of triggering, brutal things in this story, but it was written so beautifully, they came across as natural.

Niklas (the male lead) had certain things in his character arc that I simply adored and just made me love him more. While MKOM was definitely hotttt, it was such a dark and gorgeous story about two people finding each other and making their own place in a world that would never accept them. I am a huge fan of themes and aesthetic in a book and the whole rustic mountain, away from the world vibe was done to absolute perfection to the point I could see it.

I still can't believe this was a debut, and I am so freaking excited to see what else is produced from this author because she came out of the gate strong and was definitely not playing around. Keep in mind, this is a DARK romance, which comes with certain subject matter than some may find uncomfortable. If you do not like dark and disturbing things, you will most likely not want to pick this one up. If you do, however, this book was AMAZING.
